No accounts, ever

CanvasIQ has no registration, no login and no user profiles. There is nothing to breach because nothing about you is stored.

No database, no persistence

Your drawings exist only in your browser's memory while the tab is open. CanvasIQ writes nothing to cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Closing the tab erases everything — exporting a file is the only way work leaves the app.

No tracking — only anonymous visit counts

No fingerprinting, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, and nothing about what you draw ever leaves the canvas. We don't know who you are or what you draw — and that's the point.

How visits are counted

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, part of the service that hosts CanvasIQ. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each page view it records the page address (with anything after ? or # removed first, because a prompt can ride along there), the referring site, an approximate location (country, region and city) and your browser, operating system and device type. It does not store your IP address: visitors are told apart only by a hash of the request that Vercel discards after 24 hours, so a view cannot be tied to you or followed across sites. Vercel shows the figures for a month and may keep them longer, and we copy daily totals into a private dashboard; neither describes any individual. We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the app is used, and a content blocker stops the count without changing anything else.

Incognito-first

Because nothing is persisted, CanvasIQ behaves identically in private/Incognito windows.

AI requests

When you use the AI Copilot, your prompt (and, in Assist mode, a structural summary of your canvas — counts, colors, labels) is sent to our server endpoint, which forwards it to the AI provider (Groq) to generate a result. Prompts are processed transiently to produce your output and are not stored by CanvasIQ. The API key lives only on the server — it is never present in your browser.

Exports are local

PNG, SVG, PDF, JSON, GLTF, OBJ and STL files are generated entirely on your device. They are never uploaded.
