Privacy statement

CanvasIQ is engineered so that the most private answer is also the true one.

No accounts, ever

CanvasIQ has no registration, no login and no user profiles. There is nothing to breach because nothing about you is stored.

No database, no persistence

Your drawings exist only in your browser's memory while the tab is open. CanvasIQ writes nothing to cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Closing the tab erases everything — exporting a file is the only way work leaves the app.

No tracking, no telemetry

No analytics scripts, no fingerprinting, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers. We don't know who you are or what you draw — and that's the point.

Incognito-first

Because nothing is persisted, CanvasIQ behaves identically in private/Incognito windows.

AI requests

When you use the AI Copilot, your prompt (and, in Assist mode, a structural summary of your canvas — counts, colors, labels) is sent to our server endpoint, which forwards it to the AI provider (Groq) to generate a result. Prompts are processed transiently to produce your output and are not stored by CanvasIQ. The API key lives only on the server — it is never present in your browser.

Exports are local

PNG, SVG, PDF, JSON, GLTF, OBJ and STL files are generated entirely on your device. They are never uploaded.
